Black and white portrait photography shot primarily in a SoHo studio in New York City. The work here is portrait-first — direct gaze, strong expression, face-forward compositions. The noir register strips away color to focus on what's left: light, shadow, texture, and the subject.

Sessions cover close-up beauty portraits, three-quarter looks, and more editorial framings depending on what the model wants to build. Some of the images here come from location shoots in New York City and elsewhere — Hamburg, Atlanta, London — where different light and environment change what's possible in the frame.

Black-and-white conversion is done selectively, choosing frames where the tonal range and composition hold up without color. The result is a separate body of work from the color portfolio, not just desaturated versions of the same shots.
